The scope of ISO/TC 211 Geographic Information is standardization in the field of geographic information and geomatics. The official website of ISO/TC 211 is http://www.isotc211.org.   

At the 19th ISO/TC 211 Plenary meeting in Palanza, Italy, the TC decided to install the Focus Group on Data Producers (FGDP).

The mandate of the FGDP is to raise the awareness and promote the use of international standards in the area of geographic information by data producers and to collect requirements for development of additional standards in this area.

The aims of this website is to assist the group in implenting its mandate.
